Bible Studies

Sunday Night Bible Study

Every other Sunday night during the winter, at 7:30 PM, we gather for a time of fellowship and learning. We’ve been exploring the Behold Your God book and video series by John Snyder—a powerful journey into knowing God more deeply.

Women’s Bible Study

Every other Wednesday morning, a group of women come together to dive into With the Master: Philippians by Susan Heck.

Every other Thursday evening, another group meets at a member’s home for a meaningful study of With the Master: On the Mount by Susan Heck.

Each gathering is a wonderful opportunity for encouragement, learning, and growing in faith and fellowship.

Men’s Ministry

A group of men gather every other Thursday evening to dive into Disciplines of a Godly Man by R. Kent Hughes. It’s a time of encouragement, growth, and meaningful discussion.

Young Peoples

Every other Sunday evening, young adults who have graduated high school and are navigating post-secondary education or starting their careers come together for Bible study, games, and occasional outings. It’s a great opportunity for fellowship and encouragement in this season of life.

Teen Club

Typically held every other Sunday evening, this group is for high school students looking to grow in their faith. They engage in Bible study, enjoy games, and take part in various activities throughout the winter.

Kingdom Seekers

A program that is held every other Thursday evening at 7:30-9 pm for girls from the ages of 7-13. Girls are encouraged, build relationships and, most importantly: add to their knowledge of God and his word. Their theme verse is Matthew 6:33: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” The girls have a craft after a lesson and are also given opportunities throughout the year to work on badges in conjunction with the Kingdom Seekers program.

Cadets

A program that is held every other Thursday evening at 7:30-9 pm for boys from the ages of 7-13. This is an opportunity for the boys to develop relationships with godly men and to grow socially, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Their theme verse is Luke 14:15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” The boys may work on badges from the Cadet program as well, although they are frequently provided other hands-on crafts.

Catechism

Classes are held every Wednesday evening at 8 pm for the youth aged 13-18. Bible lessons are based on the confessions of the church as found in the Heidelberg Catechism, Canons of Dort, and the Belgic Confession. Students go through the book “I Belong: A Course of Study on the Heidelberg Catechism” by James Visscher.

Sunday school

Every Sunday during second service for ages 3 -7 during the months of September to May the children are able to participate in Sunday School. Summer Sunday school is held for 3 and 4 year olds in June, July and August. The children leave during the Song of Preparation and meet to enjoy a time of singing songs before dividing into their individual classes where they have a bible lesson and a craft (or two!).

Prayer Meeting, Saturday Night Life, and Church Potlucks

Throughout the year, our church hosts various gatherings that foster community and spiritual growth.

Prayer Meeting – Held every 2-3 weeks, this is a time to come together in prayer, seeking encouragement and lifting up one another before the Lord.

Saturday Night Life – A monthly ministry outreach where we provide a warm meal and share a message from God’s Word, offering support and hope to our community.

Church Potlucks – A few times a year (2-3 gatherings), we come together for food, fellowship, and connection, sharing in the joy of Christ-centered community.
